Nicola Pierce - Headteacher standing outside the school

It was wonderful to see so many of you at Parents’ Evening this week. I was delighted to hear so many positive comments about the school.

I hope you all received a Parents’ Survey which has also been sent via Parentmail. Your comments and suggestions are very important to us. As well as asking for your views on “Learning Links” we are also very keen to develop the use of volunteers in school. Adults are always very welcome in school to support our children with various activities but we would also be grateful for volunteers to help us develop the school grounds (especially as the weather starts to warm up!) and our school environment. I have bought a playhouse that needs erecting and have lots of painting jobs lined up if anyone is interested? Mrs Grange and her Green Warriors have arranged for every class to have a planter in which they will be growing flowers and vegetables after the holidays and they would always be grateful for any help planting, weeding and tidying our school grounds. If you or any member of your family could spare us as little as an hour a week please let us know via the survey. We would be very grateful if you could complete and return your survey to the school office by Friday 26th February.

I do hope that you have a relaxing half term break and that the sun shines on us at least for some of the week.
