Bio
For 11 years I have been a Foundation governor at St Augustine’s. During that time it has been my privilege to chair the Governing body and work with many committed people, staff and governors.
My daughter attended Brewster Avenue and St Augustine’s so I understand the desire of parents to obtain the best education they can for their children.
Education includes all the skills we require to manage in our lives and I am always immensely proud, when our children go into the wider community, by the comments we receive regarding their behaviour, enthusiasm and maturity. I truly believe St Augustine’s gives our children a safe, secure and nurturing place to learn to be confident and knowledgeable.
When not at school, I work at the City hospital and attend St. Margaret’s the sister church. I cannot bear to have idle hands and love all forms of craft work, often whilst watching a good science fiction movie.
